Cooling Vest

I cannot take the heat anymore. Anywhere to get a cooling vest in Taiwan? Something like this one: http://www.steelevest.com

if you order online the shipping is an additional USD 67.50.

Just pour water on yourself. You’ll stay cooler that way. I wet my arms and shirt before I get on the bike, and by the time I get to work I’m dry (and not overheated).

Sorry, don’t know where to get that vest.

avoid all that hassle by simply constructing a large mobile refrigerator around your motorcycle. that way you’ll always be cool.

That doesn’t work in humid HK. Here you have to try and get the mosture off, cos it never dries, instead forming an outer layer to par boil you in the trapped heat, pollution, stench of the vile local foodstuffs (what the fuck is a fishball, anyway?I never seen a fish with balls) and the godawful stench of bloody moth balls (what’s that about?), poor hygeine, vaguelly nasally stenches (don’t believe me? Try a taxi) that are all so damned pervasive here in this mindless former colony now riddled with the lamest China nats on the planet.

Come to think of it, WTF am I doing here?

Couldn’t you just buy a couple of those gel ice/heat packs that you can find in most pharmacists, stick in the fridge a few hrs prior and stuff down your pants to keep you cool.
