But there are fools everywhere WITH and without healthcare expertise that continue to make bogus claims. The starting point is clearly Fauci, but there’s not shortage of others.
I met with my insurance agent this weekend. I asked her if they were OK financially due to COVID policies payouts. She gave a quizzical almost embarrassed smile and told me their company had not offered those COVID related products. She said the agents begged the company to have them as they were selling so well but the higher ups said no. They literally dodged the bullet.
It kind of is worse than this, because those in the know, the ones with expertise in the field, deliberately used the distinction between COVID-19 and SARS-COV2 the (infection and the disease) whenever they talked about them to deliberately knowingly misrepresent what vaccines were supposed to do to a public that did not know the difference between the two.
These people (experts) knew exactly what they were saying and exactly how it would be misinterpreted.
I think evil is a bit strong. However, I also wouldn’t call it just misplaced good intentions. The eye-watering financial incentives must have made it very easy for people to kid themselves that they were ‘managing’ the great unwashed for the greater good.
Anyway, whatever the reason I struggle to see how anyone can still believe that the public was not misled about the efficacy of vaccines. It was an enormous fib from both experts (at least the ones we were allowed to hear from) and politicians. And it’s still ongoing.
Yes, its ongoing, but they were making statements as an expert (epidemiologist) that they knew people would misinterpret. How they said it is that its effective against SARS-COV2, i.e. the disease you get from the infection COVID-19, whereas they knew people would believe that it was effective in them not getting the infection, COVID-19. The choice of language was very deliberate because what they said was actually true, but totally, and deliberately, misleading.
Millions upon millions of people have been misled injecting themselves with a product they may not have chosen to do so had they been better informed. Many of these suffered serious ‘side’ effects of these vaccines, including people I know. To me that’s evil, and its a (group) karma you would not want to have, at any price.
So 95% of doctors and every major public and private healthcare organization on the planet are engaged in a global conspiracy to mislead the public about Covid vaccines?
I dont agree with your numbers (and many refuse to speak out for fear of repercussions) but many of us here on Forumosa have been seriously asking that question for the last two years.
Few, honestly. And I use that word deliberately. There are doctors that have spoken out about what’s going on and they’re viciously attacked and defamed regardless of their credentials and that they’ve been demonstrably right about a lot of things during the pandemic. This isn’t a revelation… a growing number of people hold this view.
I don’t judge you holding your view, I can understand how you would. I also don’t have an issue with you judging or attacking me for my view.
I’ve seen what all sides have put forward… everything from the UK government advertising for an AI specialist to develop computer systems before the vaccines were available because (in their words) they do not believe their legacy systems would be able to cope with the the expected number of reported adverse reactions… to the ‘science’ that supposedly supports government decisions, that they almost never, ever, make public, even if they’re sued. And when organisations like the FDA and CDC are sued to release their information, you discover some of the most amazing things, including that a lot of the statements they made are baseless and they have no science or anything else to support them. The list goes on and on and on… and on.
I know which side I have more faith in.
And, I can also appreciate how others hold a contrary view.
