Corporate Totalitarianism on the rise

I was asked why I think we will see a rise in authoritarianism, I don’t see the issue as a left vs right issue. Which is why I have a video of some left leaning guys discussing how it is affecting them. So far left that they see Joe Biden as far right.

I can get someone who identifies with the left rejecting the right, but when both sides are saying the same thing, where on the political spectrum are those who disagree?

I pretty much agree with everything they are saying, with minor disagreements on one or two points.

Far enough left or right is authoritarian either way, just before falling into complete lunacy

I think this is a more accurate representation.

In this case the Libertarian’s on both sides agree, they would actually like to see people come together, it is the authoritarians who seek division.

In your map, the further up you travel, the closer you approach Totalitarianism. And Totalitarianism is simply “mono-theology with a Living God”. Where the oligarchy cannot agree on a single Living-God, they create multiple Living-Gods.

In Quadrant I and II, the combined region is collectivism, the euphemism of which is Socialism.

If within the current national border the population is mostly racially homogenous, then the Party practices National Socialism to seize power domestically. Once this Party-State achieves domestic totalitarian rule, it will expand beyond its border. So, beyond its border on a global stage, the Party-State calls for International Socialism. But at its immediate border, the Party-State practices outright military annexation. “Annexing thy neighbours” is considered by socialist a justified means to immediately address past grievances. This is Quadrant I in your diagram.

If within the current national border the population is mostly heterogenous, then the Party practices Intra-national Socialism (or "*mult-Racial Socialism) to seize power domestically first. Once it achieves that stage, it will expand outward to achieve International Socialism. This is Quandant II in your diagram. [*typically needs to simply into bi-racial socialism in order to divide and conquer.]

Both Quadrant I and II are Socialism. The difference is in whether Mono-National (or mono-racial) Socialism was required at its initial stage. Of course if you already have a mix population, you call for Multi-Racial Nationalism (race struggle) in order to seize power.

In conclusion, the nature of Totalitarian is by its definition - Global. A totalitarian cannot expect to maintain totalitarian in a local, regional scope without being eventually crushed by outside forces. The destination and end goal of Totalitarian Control is thus Global Totalitarian Control.

In short, Globalist.

Very well written and by the way why the topic is in International Politics and not US Politics.

yeah, I was mumbling about this sort of thing in my Western Civilisation thread. What bothers me is the number of people worldwide who are so willing to subscribe to the lunacy these days. I think we’re looking at another resurgence of Communism, Fascism, totalitarianism - whatever you want to call it. As Mick said, it doesn’t really matter if you call them ‘left’ or ‘right’ - they both believe that the world would be a much better place if they were in charge and pointing guns in their neighbours’ faces.

I’m just reading JPs “rules” book at the moment, and he goes on at length about the need for all of us to understand our own capacity for outrageously evil acts. He also traces the path that people have to travel down to get to that place; unlike most theorists, he doesn’t ascribe the cause to being brutalised as a child. He says it’s down to people who lie to themselves, over and over again, for years, instead of facing their problems head-on and dealing with them in sensible ways. Eventually they push themselves into a position where their souls are fuelled by a diffuse and all-consuming resentment.

You can take that for whatever its worth, but it’s not implausible. It fits quite a lot of empirical observations.

So, its time to gang up, hoardd weapons and food and build walls.

10-4

Looks like Cyberpunk 2077 is right… we’ll have mega corporations controlling everything, until they become as powerful as countries. Then there will be wars over corporations… and then a rock star looking like Keanu Reeves will go set off nukes in a corporate HQ to beat the system…

I mean look at our techs. We’re so connected by it that we might as well implant the shit in our brains. And when that happen, they control wealth, body, and soul.
