Wow. Only in Taiwan.

This has always been pretty common here. Burglars hiding out, husbands stashing their wifes bodies…water tanks are real handy.

If you’re an idiot.

They have a special “dead body filter” for RO filtration systems in Yong He. You have to ask for it.

Okay, that stops the meat, but what about the soup and gravy?

always add sweet potato, two cups light soy and sesame oil …stir

What a horrible way to die! Knowing that no-one will ever hear you, and if you get tired and fall asleep, you drown!

Wouldn’t you try and block the place the water goes? Stick a toe in or something? When they have no water for a day, someone will come out to fix it!

Then when they open the water tank, you grab the plumber, pull him inside so the positions are reversed.

That’s pretty gross. But why anyone would want to hide out in a water tank is beyond me…

well i don’t have to worry too much. our gwan li dickhead always manages to arrange a “cleaning” without telling anyone in the building ahead of time, resulting in NO water in the morning. ya… ONLY in Taiwan. Falls under the “mei ban fa” header… :s
The alleged drug dealer reportedly fled the raid via a narrow alley and later scaled Chao’s apartment in search of a place to lie low.

The water tank seemed like the ideal spot until Wu discovered, after having already immersed himself in his watery coffin, that the tank lid’s latch locked from the outside, and could not be pried open.
We have an early nominee for this year’s Darwin Award.
All you’d have to do is hold the float valve up high to stop the water flow. If you’re lucky someone will use water and the tank level will go down until they run out of water. From there reversing the roles with the plumber is a good idea.

Seriously, sounds like murder to me.

Gah! I certainly wish that I had not read that.

Reminds me of the Tom Lehrer “Old Irish Ballad” song:
One morning in a fit of pique,
Sing rickety-tickety-tin,
One morning in a fit of pique,
She drowned her father in the creek.
The water tasted bad for a week,
And we had to make do with gin, with gin,
We had to make do with gin.
