If I start exercising I have a resting HR below 45 BPM. I have periods at night that my HR goes below 25.

Glad to hear that your condition was not very serious. However, it very much sounds like lifestyle is having a big impact on your health. Not to be an alarmist and cause increased anxiety and worry but you shouldn’t be having high blood pressure at your age. It’s a pretty clear warning sign that something is out of kilter and you’ll need to make some significant adjustments to get and keep yourself healthy.
