Costa Rica breaks relations with Taiwan

Taiwan shares its own uniqueness in having the most number of archived politicians and sympathizers particularly from DPP, who miserably fail to comprehend reality in life that Taiwan is now a sinking carrier. Blaming the oppositions on the ground of sheer incompetence is preposterous. Can Taiwan maintain and sustain diplomacy relationship even if all countries recognised Taiwan from that time onwards? Nope, not that it’s tenable when China feels her rights to unite Taiwan is being trampled.

Time has moved on. China has progressed tremendously in all aspects. Taiwan is still mired in political stalement. Both countries with absurd stupidity, continue to pour hugh money and effort just to spite one another in the game of tit-a-tat diplomancy. China insists that negotiation to resolve impasses is possible if Taiwan recognised the ‘1992 consensus’. The DPP regime, unsurprisingly denied all consensus.

No meeting, no negotiation, no compromise, no nothing - and only God knows what next. Possible outcomes will be - 1. Taiwan will further be isolated with recognization from none, 2. Stalement in present form, will continue for the next 50 years, 100 years, or a 1,000 years. 3. War broke up with disastrous consequence for Taiwan and China (with the former total annihilated), 4. Some fair-minded DPP leaders replacing the worn-out CSB’s admin, initialise some negotiations but final resolution is not possible without replacing DPP’s hostile ideology, 5. KMT regain back as ruling party of Taiwan. Both China and Taiwan agree to sign a peace accord lasting for the next 100 years, promising no hostilities between them. Legality China and Taiwan are part of one China but in actual situation, Taiwan manages to keep to its present form of governing, without interference either directly or indirectly from China. Even the comical He-man is allowed to have a dozen kids if he desired.

Now which possible option is deemed acceptable to all parties. Beebee will pick on option 5. How about the rest of other forumosans?

Could beebeee shut up and leave this forum?

You could try to out debate Beebee instead of promoting the image of TI supporters being immature and non-intellectual.

nyah, nyah nyaah!!!
“Could beebeee shut up and leave this forum?”
Why should he?
Why shouldn’t you?
People have the idea a forum is Plato talking to Socrates,
or Aristotle.
It’s more like being on a soap box in Trafalger Square.
The crowd throws verbal barbs and/or rotten fruit!
My opinion … wait for it, is that it all comes down to money.
When you’re a kid the kid with the ball calls the rules to the game.
As a country, when you’ve got the money you call the rules.
Even American economists say, " We owe the Chinese a lot of
money (the ball) if we tell them to play by our rules, they’ll take
the ball (the money) home!"

“You could try to out debate Beebee instead

non-intellectual.”
Shows how slow I type, something heartwarming was said!

Wow…the first of the seven Central American countries to do so. This is sure to start a domino effect there.[/quote]
I predict the other six will go to Beijing between now and the 2008 Olympics.

Surely if the debate counts on the number of dating, porn, whores postings, I will have readily admit defeat. Other than that, it’s probably a feeling of exasperation leading him into a state of delusion and anger whenever he encounter postings that are anti-TIs. This is not the first time and it wun’t be the last, he is sharpening his horn to goad somebody out. Just forgive and forget.

It is like “bid” competition.
This time China wins.
Chen said :we can’t afford the money $$???..

Because all the money was funneled into his personal account.

from today’s paper;“The Associated Press quoted Costa Rica President Oscar Arias Sanchez on Thursday as saying that Taiwan was ‘being stingy with aid to its handful of allies.’
‘I was always critical of the Taiwanese, and I can say now that I always told them … if you want to have friends in the world, you should be more generous;’ he told the news agency, adding that considering the few friends Taiwan has, it does not treat them very well.
‘Without a doubt, we will get more help from China;’ Arias was quoted as saying. Some sources said Beijing has offered a US$70 million financial aid and debt forgiveness package in exchange for Costa Rica’s diplomatic switch.”
looks like you were right dropout -
“Because all the money was funneled into his (Chen’s) personal account.”
while Arias was saying “Taiwan” and “Taiwanese” certainly he meant/we know it’s Chen that’s stingy because he puts the money in his pants.

Well, giving the money knowing that they might switch over to China is not wise either; especially when they only care about money.

All the more reason for CSB keeping the money from himself. At least he knows it won’t be wasted on him.

He could make more money by selling out to China. If he were solely interested in the money, that would be the logical decision. Governor of Taiwan Special Administrative Zone…he can’t be fired from that post (unlike having to give up the Presidency under the two-term limit in 2008). If he really were as cynical and money-grubbing as people like AC Dropout assume him to be, he’d go where the money (and his political future) is.

The problem is of course how can a non-Chinese like CSB deal with Chinese people in the PRC.

I hope you’re being ironic.

Because that’s like saying I am a non-Anglo-Saxon just because I wasn’t born in the UK.

I hope you, and everybody in the U.S., Canada, Australia, South Africa, etc. gets the analogy.

Chen is as Chinese as you. More Chinese, in fact. At least he didn’t flee to the U.S. of A. because he couldn’t stand a Chinese-majority society.

I’ve memorized CSB speeches, per his recommendations at DPP meetings, he is clearly not Chinese.
I’ve even been to LTH events, where he has made is absolutely clear that we have been de-Sinicized.

Please not insult the cause by referring to them as Chinese.

Because I am even less Chinese that makes me even a greater supporter of their cause.

All the non-Chinese must unite under localization, or happy hour as we like to call it.

Then why try to force them to join China where they - the Taiwanese - are obviously non-“Chinese”?

Should the U.K. own Canada and the U.S. just because we happen to share a common heritage?

No one can force Taiwanese to be Chinese.
Unless, the leader himself to localize “Zhong Hua Min Guo” to Taiwan.
