Covid testing before coming to Taiwan and while in Taiwan

Before flying to Taiwan, some foreigners require a covid19 test within 3 days of departure, but does this mean the test has to be taken within 3 days or the results have to have been issued within 3 days?

Links to sources would be appreciated

Needs to have been taken within 3 working days.

Do you have any sources for this? UK gov websites says the report must be completed within 3 days.

“Foreign nationals entering Taiwan must provide a negative COVID-19 test report completed within three working days prior to boarding their entry flight.”

I asked TRO in the UK, but they told me to contact Taiwan CDC, which I did weeks ago and did not get a response

It’s on the Taiwan CDC website FAQ for Covid-19. See answer to Q5.

Thank you.

So it is issued within 3 days!

The kind required for flying.

And how long does it take to get the results back?

In Kaohsiung if relevant.

(Also how much are they?)

If you mean hospitals you can take a test in taiwan,

I tried going to your link but it sends me to some homepage with news about covid.

You can google “Designated Hospital List for out-of-pocket COVID-19 PCR testing_1090921.pdf”, then it will tell you where is the file.

Is this the same with the above link?

I think this works.
