Ok, so, I 've found a University that offers a Proficiency test for Chinese called CPT and it’s similar to the HSk test from China.
Anyone have any practice tests or anything for this test?
I’d be really interested to see what is available out there as I really should pass this test and get my qualifications in order.
My listening and speaking won’t be any problem, or at least shouldn’t be, but I am really nervous about the reading part.
Anyone???
What university in what country?
BTW, HKS is AKA CPT , so you could be talking about the same thing - Chinese Proficiency Test is the usual English translation of Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi. If it uses simplified characters and has an 8-level scoring system, than they are one and the same.

I live in Ching shui which is near Providence University (jing yi) 靜宜大學.
In Taichung County.
They say it is similar to the Mainland Chinese test. I will assume that it is in traditional characters, if not I am in big trouble.
Providence has that? Cool.
I am going to e-mail Carlos the HOD of the language center and get some more information about it. I’d like to take the test too at some stage.
If I pass I think, when I finally get home, I will take some extra Uni credits I have and try to cross credit for a B.A (Chinese).
