I’m interested in taking some crafting classes. I would be up for anything from calligraphy to ceramics to scrapbooking. Does anyone know of some options in Taipei that might be in English?

Which kind of classes? Do you you mean traditional taiwanese/chinese art forms?
I’m asking because I’ve studied drawing and illustration, and I am available for tutoring. I live in Da-An. I’m not taiwanese, though 
I would be interested in either traditional or more recreational forms, however, one of my main goals would be to socialize and meet new people so I wouldn’t be interested in a tutoring scenario. Thanks though!

There is this art craft shop (yarn, scrapebook material, necklace balls, thread, needles, pottery material near the Central Taipei Train Station, they also offer lots of courses, but they are in chinese:
