Hmm interesting, I’m wondering why your experience is so much different than the linked thread ([Cannot get an online banking account if ARC expires in less than a year](https://tw.forumosa.com/t/cannot-get-an-online-banking-account-if-arc-expires-in-less-than-a-year/216192)). Some reports from that thread of not being able to use forex after their ARC expired. Maybe just need to find the right bank to work with?
