Yes we live and learn. To be fair EOS could have been Solana or Dot it just wasn’t the right time nor backed by the big VCs.
Same story with Neo.
If you look into Solana and Dot they are backed by huge money from silicon valley. They are better projects too though coming along at the right time.
Neo was an excellent project but the founders decided they would do another cash grab and create ontology which was just too blatant.
This is all par for the course and none of it can be accurately predicted in advance. If you want to play the game you have to be ready to take some hits.
Its funny you didn’t call out LEND, I was an early backer of LEND…Now AAVE. My single greatest crypto investment by profitable ttrade …Anybody who invested in that back when I was spruiking made at least 100x.
