I can’t for the life of me find the current vehicle license tax amounts for cars. The government websites, when I finally manage to navigate through the swathes of utterly useless information, are frustratingly vague.
So what’s the scoop on taxes and insurance for a 1.0-2.0L car?

Just over $7,000. I know, just got mine. 
License Plate Tax: NT$ 7,120
Fuel Tax: NT$ 4,800

Not for Insurance…Fuel Tax.
I just got one in the mail for 11,230 to be paid in April. It’s in 6 sections (numbers 1, 2, and 3 on the left side). Is that fuel tax or something else? None of my Taiwanese coworkers can answer me when I try and ask them… 
NT$28k for fuel tax? Please tell me you have a 6L Dodge with jet engine attachment?
