I went to Tony’s Music store in neihu today to buy some guitar strings (I needed 12s for a customer and they’re very hard to find here).

They were selling those Dean Mackley blue steel strings, 199 for 2 packs. They said they’ve been sitting in a warehouse for a very long time. They also had a 5 set pack of Gibson strings for 750nt. I don’t know if they have more… But it looks like they got some overstock of strings that’s been sitting in a warehouse for too long and wants to get rid of it…

I’d be worried those strings are already tarnished. Any strings stored in a Taiwan warehouse without aircon are going to tarnish.

These strings come sealed from the factory, like most strings…
