Who doesn’t?
Oooh, I hadn’t noticed that. There’s a further irony, and one that makes me far less trustful of those briefs. Leichhardt is a very popular suburb for hard dykes. I mean the cropped haired, farting out loud, man hating big doggy types. They also tend to be the ones raving about how evil penetrative sex is, “I mean it’s all a fucking metaphor for violence, right?”
Umm, now I’ve seen they’ve taken over one of me old haunts.
Leichhardt Hotel
126 Balmain Rd (at Short St), Leichhardt. Lesbian-managed pub with games, pool tables, beer garden, and a chance to meet some of the local Dykes on Bikes who kick back here.
Just so we’re clear, here’s a Dykes on bikes run. They’re not what you’d call lipstick lesbians.

No, cos then I couldn’t gloat about the latest advance in men’s underpantery. It lifts, seperates and extends, doncha ya know. And you can get them over the internet.

Still wouldn’t help the male members in TW anyway. It would be male version of the padded bra syndrome that is here.
Looks like he’s got a spare pair of socks stuffed in his banana hanger too.
I use my old unmentionables as paint rags and such. That’s the difference between men and women-we wear them until they disengrate then recycle them around the house.
But, but, but…
Shouldn’t this be in the women’s forum?

The guy who told me where to get decent bras last year was a guy.
So no.
Cotton is …“breathable”…which if you’ve ever worn a pair over your face…you appreciate.
Damn TC, you’re da man

Hong Kong is great for undies, especially for the fellas. Just check this out:

FYI: If any of you girls ever think about trying on the one size fits all numbers at pierre cardin, they are too small for me.
I’m not sure even a child could fit in these…
One size fits all is always a bullshit marketing ploy. How stupid do they think people are, anyway?
Pierre Cardin is one of the worst of the supposed fashion brands turned commercial sellout, anyway.
Hey FOB, I went to Fu Zhong yesterday for the Wu Bai & China Blue autograph session, then I spent some time hanging out with a friend who lives in the area. She took me to the FE21 department store, and they have loads of panties that look as if they might work. Friend is also a waiguoren, and she said she is able to actually buy underwear there and that panties are around $420 or so. Maybe it’s worth a trip to take a look.
Me, I just get a kick out of the huge amount of padding in all the bras, can’t stop giggling about it when I’m looking at all of them.
Have all the proper panty jokes been made already? If not, let me know and I’ll read through the first 2 pages and post accordingly.
Alls I know is that even my Taiwanese wife thinks the panties here are crap. She always stocks up at Victoria’s Secret when we go back to the US (especially when they have the 5 for US$20 sales).
There’s a shop on Gee-Long Rd near Hsin-Yi that sells fancy crotch-less panties.
Does that help?
net has comfy cute undies… nothing fancy though… but decent
Spousal Unit has had similar problems. Bangkok at “Women’s Market” solved the immedicy. Just crap on more crap. Friends from the U.S. take pity and bring some undies when they can. Panties here are outrageosly expensive. - 2-4k per pair. Bras are the same. Mail order is the best we have found. BTW, wife had a BIG complaint about some upscale undies from the U.S. They caused severe itching at the panty lines - waist and legs. We found that the detergent we were using from the department store just wasn’t up to the task. After we swithed to Costco Tide for the first wash and no detergent for the 2d, the scratchy stuff ended. BTW, us males are also affected by this. Elastic across vital parts that itch 24/7 - we need to change.
Mod note: I’ve started up a thread on detergents and itching here. -DB Mod
There are some stores around called “Easy shop” or somthing like that. Orange in color I think.
They specialise in mid range lingere. I know there is one in Ximen area, but there are around the place. Worth a try.
I’m waiting for a delivery from here: figleaves.com/uk/ including a cup sized swimsuit
I just stock up whenever I go to the UK (Marks and Spencers…can’t beat ‘em) or sometimes in the US. I buy so much of the stuff the salespeople think I’m on crack. My suggestion would be to order online, get them sent to your parents’, and have Mom send them out. I don’t think many places do overseas shipping, and if they do it costs an arm and a leg…definitely order from home, or travel to Malaysia or Hong Kong to hit Marks 'n Sparks there. Great excuse for a holiday.
There is a very good shop for elegant underwears for ladies in 101. Don’t remember the exact floor but it is only for “Lingerie Francaise” and the brand Princess Tam Tam is very nice and confortable. The models sold here are exactly the same than the ones being sold in France (on the contrary of other brands where they tend to “localize” the product and hence being not “wearable”). I have several sets and they last very long (just remember to put them in a washing bag before putting them in your washing machine).
I know this thread is called ‘decent panties’, but wouldn’t indecent panties be more fun?
