Deep Throat

My Norton Internet security firewall on my home PC keeps catching a trojan called “deep throat” whenever I dock my pocket PC and activesync starts.

Googling hasn’t yielded too much useful info, so before I dig even deeper, has anyone else experienced this? (on their PPC that is  )
There is no anti-virus s/ware on my ppc, and I didn’t think I’d ever need it just for the PPC specifically, as all installations got thru the mothership.

Any assistance appreciated.

From the looks of it, it is only a minor virus that first appeared in 1999.
I’ll probably run the PC-Cillin housecall, which will provide a free internet anti virus scan of you computer.

Below is a link of the virus and to trendmicro.

Thanks for your help so far. Just to make it clear tho, the virus is on my pocket PC not my Desktop. Not sure how to get it off my PPC. Any recommendations for AV software for a PPC? Is it necessary to use AV software on a PPC?

What do you mean? I just googled “deep throat”, and I got a lot of… oh wait…
