Does anyone know of an online source where I can find a Chinese language definition of “bei gao” (i.e. defendant) … ?
I would also like appropriate legal references to the Taiwan legal code. I have looked through the relevant Taiwan Civil Codes here this morning, including those related to filing suits in the local court system, and checked on the internet, but I cannot seem to find any clear definition of this term “bei gao”.
An associate of mine is involved in a civil suit, however she claims that she was improperly named in the suit as the “bei gao.” Hence, in order to advance this argument, we need a clear definition of what exactly “bei gao” is, and/or how it is determined.
