Describe your social circle

Because that’s who comes to class I guess. The are more Asians in our club now, but the “white faces” still out number. There are a ton of Asian faces for Judo competitions though .

It’s really from a fight . Actually, I didn’t get knocked out. No one did in that fight (but I did win .)

I sure am, and try my hardest to share what I have with anyone who wants some.

We all noticed.

Nice pictures miltownkid, thanks! I’m the skinny, geeky type, so I doubt I’ll fit in in your circle. But I’ll worry about that when I actually get to Taiwan, probably the end of the year.

I like to be at home with the family and not see another expat unless they are close friends coming over for a bbq

Game Club is perfect for the skinny geeky types  (assuming you like board games)

But the next time I’m really drunk

I’ll give you a call

Hay why are you picking on me already, by calling me a skinny geek? Oh wait, “did I say dat?” hehe

Well, when and if I go to TW later this year, I hope to at least do some sports, like badminton or table tennis. Board games sound fun too, like scrabble.

I think you read that wrong. I didn’t write “I sure am, and try to share my hardest with anyone that wants some.”

This is weird, I thought it was just me living the solitary life here. I lived in HK, Korea and Vietnam and had fantastic social lives in all…what gives in Taiwan?

I am not doing nothing, I go to the gym, rock climb at Y17 and occasionally drink with colleagues. Have tried hanging around MOP and The Tavern, but a social circle does not seem to be developing…unless you count the barmaids at MOP who talk to me as long as I am drinking.

Most of my socialising seems to be with the gf’s friends & folks…maybe I am just pussy whipped?
Pretty much sounds like my social life, except I can’t get a date either, so I don’t even have that to fall back on.

My social circle consists of beer, vodka, Bittorrent, and Photoshop. I guess a dog would help out a lot.

Why can’t you get a date? Internet has been my sanctuary as well, and I’m not even in TW yet.

I met my girl on the net. We’ve been together over 6 months now…I think.

Alidarbac have you tried dating sites? My favourite is www.adultfriendfinder.com.

Just kidding…honest.

My social circle is a bunch of jerks  :astonished:

Social circle? Sounds nice, but I get home from work at 7:30 or 8:00, eat dinner, play with my daughter, give her a bottle, put her to sleep, realize that I’m asleep too, brush my teeth, crash out, get up and do it all over again. As Jackson Browne said. . .
