Who?

Not knocking your post, but who are they and why do I want to read about them.

I’m not bored enough to click on random links.

Is it too much to ask for a brief explanation of a link?

Speaking of exciting:

Now that’s exciting!!![/img]

That is uncanny. I was recalling Fred Smith’s suggestion of “favourite pizza toppings” as a topic for those who didn’t like the tenor of the IP forum. Then you posted something eerily similar.

It’s only exciting if you can find the chicken fried steak in Taiwan

I will delete my pic collection from asianthumbs and start one with unhealthy food. That is by far more exciting… :notworthy:

You never heard of the Desert Rats? Really? :astonished:
One of the most famous regiments in history? Smashed Rommel’s Afrika Corps? Took North Africa for the Allies?
Those Desert Rats.

These new lads are from a more contemporary war.
And well worth the familiariztion. Pretty exciting stuff.

The originals:
The History of the British 7th Armoured Division, “The Desert Rats”

Famous group indeed.
Inspired the US TV series “RAT PATROL.” Also the comic book series of the same name. Heroes of WWII.

Yeah…and someone thinks cheese dip is more exciting :raspberry:

Hey, I just said the food is more exciting than Asianthumbs.

Desert Rats, yes, famous. I remember the Saudis did not want them to show their flag with a rat on it, as it had hurted their religous feelings in the golf war I.

I mean they do not just want to be protected by someone, you also need to have the correct flag. :loco:

Bob Sensible

A typo I know, but that doesn’t stop me from imagining red-faced angry men in pink Pringle’s pullovers and frightening plaid trousers arguing over who gets to tee off first.

Careful Sandman! We’ve enough trouble with all these rogue cartoons without Jimmy Tarbuck, Brucie and co going all gung ho on us!! Wait a minute though! What a sight that would be! Invasion and victory all done by lunchtime in time for drinks at the 19th hole!!

OK you get credit for that - but that’s 'cause it’s Asianthumbs.
