You assume too much, I think.
You asked why pot is illegal. I gave an answer to that question. I did not give my own opinion as to why pot is / should be / or should not be illegal.

Taking the 5th, eh? They say that paranoia is one of the symptoms of reefer madness so I’d be careful if I were you, Tigerman, and I’d start by putting some tape over the cameras on my cellphone and laptop.
I believe the Obama administration is taking a wait-and-see approach. If Colorado and Washington (state) see benefits of legalization without, say, a spike in criminal activity, the Federal government may take a liberal approach and push for legalization or decriminalization. Regardless, I expect this to end up in the hands of the Supreme Court before any major decisions are made.

I’m not refusing to answer. I did answer your question as to why Pot is currently illegal in the US.
You didn’t ask me whether I believe pot should be legal or illegal in the US. For the record, I’ve been a long-time advocate of the decriminalization of pot in the US.

My theory as to why pot is illegal in the U.S. is because it makes you feel too good.
Well. One of the vids I posted was of an orgy.
You’ve been spying on me, haven’t you?!?!?!??

I’m watching a live NSA feed of you right now, Varmint, and it’s not a pretty sight.
