How about switch to sparkling water which is widely available in Taiwan? 0 calories. Some are flavored (but with no sugar still).

nope, haven’t seen it at all in many years of drinking here.

If the goal is to mix it with gin, then I would also be interested in alternatives to the schweppes tonic water.

Never seen it.

Gin and ginger ale ain’t bad. Neat gin with thinly sliced cucumber is also a lower cal winner

My gin addled brain might be playing tricks on me, but I recall seeing a diet Fever Tree in Drinks.

Where do you buy tonic water in bulk? Online?

How about the lime?

I buy it by the crate from Carrefour.

Limes from SE Asian stores.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a gin and tonic. As much as you talk it up, I’ll give it a go soon.

1 part gin, three parts tonic a good start?

My way:
Freeze lemon juice in an ice cube tray first. Thus not worrying about lemons going bad.
Pint glass with ice & lemon cube.
1/4 gin & one can of tonic.

I can’t find Schweppes tonic water anywhere at the moment. It’s a nightmare.

It’s in lots of convenience store in a blue plastic bottle. And they even have flavors.

My bad I guess that’s not tonic water.

It’s soda water.

Is that tonic water, or sparkling water?

I haven’t seen Schweppes ginger ale or tonic water in a couple of months, but I’ve got Canada Dry ginger ale at City Super.

Sparkling water.

It’s basically my only kick of flavour that’s sugar free.

You are in Toayuan right?
The RT Mart with the Burger King had cases of six packs, but no discount like Carrefour. You need to ask for it though.
