(1) I don’t want to make this look like I am voting along the racial lines, but I want to point out that Hello may have a point IF AND ONLY IF he is referring to the fact that people of European extraction tend to have easier access to permanent residency status in the U.S. than other races. This has been extensively documented by several news reports a few years back.
(2) Having said that, I agree with our Moderator that Taiwan’s policies toward foreigners are very racist and abominable.
