Difficulty installing recent/latest language packs

Hi everyone,

I’m interested in installing the latest microsoft language packs for Windows XP, so that I can use yahoo over Chinese Yahoo. I’ve encountered a few difficulties, some being, that, mandarin characters are replaced with question marks, and various unidentifiable ones.

If anyone is able to help me, I’d be very grateful!

P.S. I was wondering, what are some good programs for flashcards?, and how do I use NJstar properly?

I think your problem might be solved by going to control panel, Regional and Language Options, Advanced and change the language to match non-unicode programs to Chinese (Taiwan).
