I’m getting ready to go on a big trip for Chinese New Year, and want to get a digital camera to take along. I’ve looked a bit on the internet about what to look for, but am still not too sure on what there is out there. I’m not really looking for suggestions as to what camera to buy (although that’d be helpful so I can know which cameras have which features), more on what features are out there that make this camera stand out from that one. I’d like a nice, slim camera that can capture pictures without being choppy. I’ve seen many cameras where if you move just a little, it blurs the whole picture. Also, something with a decent battery life would be a nice extra. I’m not a pro or anything, just want to be able to put the pics on my computer and send pictures easily to friends. Any tips to help? PS: Most photoshops here in Taiwan give you CDs with digitized pics from traditional camera film after get your film developed and they give you pics and negatives you can hold and you can put the ones from the CD onto a computer. A digital camera is not a necessity for that.
