Hi, if I bring a digital LCD TV that’s NTSC, PAL & SECAM compatible, but that has a TV tuner that only supports NTSC (i.e. the TV can only handle PAL signals if they are fed from e.g. a DVD player or so …) into a PAL environment, is there a conversion tool I could use to make it PAL compatible for normal TV reception?
What if the normal TV programming is broadcast digitally anyway, could I then use the TV as it is now without any additional equipment?
AFAIK you cannot just convert the TV via some tool, usually changing of the tuner is required (easily done if it’s a module, otherwise probably not an option).
However you could of course use the TV with some external equipment that has a PAL tuner built-in, e.g. a VCR, SAT Receiver, DVD/HDD Recorder etc. by using the AV inputs.

Thanks a lot! Xpet.[/quote]
It depends on what digital broadcast you are referring to: DVB-T, DVB-S, DVB-C, HDTV etc. and which of those the TV can (directly) support.
