Ah. He probably put 3500 of those miles on it while touring in Europe, and the rest running to and from the ferry terminal

Sorry Hex, but the Africa Twin is both to big and clumsy for serious off road use, trouble is the suspension is way to soft for road use, with poor power characteristics as well.
Thought Honda stopped making these a few years ago anyway.

How about this Kymco?
I think its price should be around 60,000 NT$.

Or Kymco Stryker 125

I rode a new Africa Twin a while ago, and it was smaller, lighter and more flickable than the older versions. No character. I love the older ones in their Paris-Dakar livery.

Go talk to my friends at SMJ on FuHsing South road (between HsinHai and HoPing roads) to find a bike to meet your needs and budget. They have a couple of big sports bikes (and a Bonnie) in the showroom, but will help you find anything if you ask nicely! But before you get your hopes up, as far as I know, there are very few trialies that are legal in Taiwan at the moment, especially mid-range 400-650cc types, if any.

The Bonnie won’t be there for much longer. Just as soon as I win the lottery… Say Mr. Sandman, bring me dream. :s
That bike is without doubt the most beautiful machine in all of Taiwan, but I admit I’m biased. If I ever buy it, it’ll be my 5th Bonnie.

I saw one of the new Bonnies in Paris and was in love with it’s looks. The exhaust is all wrong though, sounds like a Honda :frowning:

<-- Had a TR7E, a T140E and built a wideline/T140V, back in the day.
