Disregard those threads. I’m 62 and banks still ask do I want to obtain another loan.

I have been meaning to share this with fellow Forumosans. I bought an apartment at the end of December last year. Interestingly, it was Christmas Eve when I signed the first contract, and it was the eve of CNY (my first CNY as a Taiwanese) when I got the keys to the house.
