How people even care he talks about Canada becoming a state just proves how easily the masses are manipulated. We should be asking what he is hiding behind truly retarded publicity stunts like that.
China, on the other hand, plays a long game and when they say they plan to take Taiwan eventually, the world should take notice.

What is going on can be summarized simply as “Containment”.

I usually use the official name, though sometimes I will use the (incorrect) initials ‘CCP’ to indulge people who don’t know much about the subject.

Neither is incorrect. However, use of CPC suggests support for the party.
The CCP, uniquely, only changed the official English translation of its name. In Chinese, it is the same today as it was in 1921: 中国共产党 (literally, “China Communist Party”).
So in other words, it’s woke white people making a fuss over an issue that Chinese themselves have no problem with. “Chinese is a slur!” was one of the stupidest woke memes to come out Year Covid.
I do think Taiwan should increase defense spendings. If there’s enough tax money to give back to everyone, there’s enough to increase defense spending

Only the legislature could make that decision and right now the GMD and TMD alliance held legislature cut most of the military budget, including money required to complete the self-developed submarine.

I don’t get the reasoning. Having submarines would be a useful deterrent for any amphibious assault.
I think 10% is quite a lot. Not everything can be solved by throwing money at it. But I would think 4-5% is reasonable considering the threat.
It’s super easy to understand the GMD and the TMD’s reasoning. They are following the wishes of the CCP.

This guy realises the grave threat, why hasn’t the DPP realised it yet instead of frittering away chip advantage for nothing in return.
