But enough talk about Trump and the Republicans …
The music industry is going to change a lot.
I just made an entire music video with AI. I used ChatGPT to help with the lyric. Gave another AI for songs the lyrics and it made the song. Used another AI to make the music video. Edited with another AI to put it all together.
It took a little bit of work to get a hang of it, but if someone like me with 0 musical talent and have never done this could do it in one day…

I feel live music will become more popular.
Pretty likely that he was diagnosed with cancer the summer of 2020. That’s why he was offline, or as the other side says “campaigned from his basement” in order to depress media interest enough to avoid disclosure of medical visits. Very likely that his doctors prescribed the usual: careful monitoring of the cancer’s growth. Nothing invasive, nothing chemical, nothing surgical. Just wait and see.
Sometime during his term, though, the cancer became dangerous in the short term, and Biden and his family opted for chemotherapy (other options include a prostatectomy, partial or radical).
Prior to chemo therapy for prostate cancer, though, is hormone therapy. This is always done to suppress testosterone prior to chemotherapy. It can lead to problems with mobility, balance, sleep, and brain fog. Biden displayed all of the above.
Of course, problems with mobility, balance, sleep and brain fog can also present as a result of natural aging. However, in this case we (now) know that Biden has cancer.
I don’t believe he’s being honest about when it was diagnosed. According to my urologist, it’s very rare that prostate cancer is first diagnosed at stage 4.

A dash - followed by space seems to auto correct into an em dash when I’m typing in Word, but then a second - added to close off that mid-sentence piece does not get morphed …which makes it look messy so I go back and restore the first dash manually. What purpose or significance does an em dash have, anyway?
It should be somewhere in Word’s autocorrect/autoformat settings. I usually set up keyboard shortcuts for en dashes (–), minus symbols (−), and em dashes (—). I see an em dash as more of a break than setting things off with commas (in cases where you’d have a comma at the start and end) or semicolons (in cases where you’d just have a single semicolon). They have their uses, but I find them distracting when there’s more than one or two on a page.
Using a hyphen in such cases is wrong, though people do it.

I can very easily type a hyphen - , but unless I get some word editor to auto-correct me, or get my IME out to do something fancy, I have no idea how to type an en dash or an em dash using the qwerty keyboard alone.
On a lot of forums and stuff, including Forumosa, you can get en and em dashes using two or three hyphens, respectively, as in – and —.
In fact, the technologies themselves are not as much of a concern as the individual scenarios in which they are used. Many of them do simplify work and daily routines, but more globally, certain political forces are trying to develop AI in disruptive directions. One becomes wary when one reads news about how the US is bringing in leading big-tech companies for defense contracts, and the directions in which weapon systems are being developed thanks to AI. Obviously, this is a new stage in the big game, and other countries are also making efforts here, but such aggressive and militaristic rhetoric regarding the prospects of AI is most often displayed by the US, rather than by China, which is almost the most important evil according to mainstream media.
