Ectaco offers translators and dictionary/translation/learning software for PC and PocketPC.
I’m currently using Dr. Eye on the PC and PocketPC and it works pretty nicely… but I was wondering about Ectaco because it offers more languages… Also wondering about the input methods… Input by radical? Stroke count? Handwriting (at least for the PocketPC) etc. Thanks!
Btw, I used to have a Palm and used the Oxford English <-> Chinese dictionary (& my wife’s still using it on her Treo) – it’s great! The character magnification is a very useful enhancement. It also offers handwriting recognition, look up by radical, (& stroke?)… I heard that there was going to be a version for PocketPC but I didn’t see anything when I just checked the ewbsite.
