Thats my understanding of how forums work, but maybe i’m just old.

I suggested discord since it includes audio and video Options but you can also choose to stay anonymous as well. It wouldn’t replace this because it’s temporary. This is still very useful because it archives the information with a good way to search and find things. It’d be more for Casual talking, online get togethers, game nights ECT.
