Does your employer have to cover your wife and child’s NHI? My new boss says they will cover my wife and son’s NHI, which my past companies have never done. Is this a law or is my new company just really good?
Maybe they will help you apply for coverage but deduct it out of your pay. Best to clarify that with them.

They have to pay 60% of premium for you and your dependents. You pay 30%.
