Has anyone had mobile Wifi for a USB dongle? If so, how much did it cost for unlimited?
Look up tstar. They’re pretty reasonable for 4g service. Once, maybe twice a year they release several really cheap plans for you to fight over. I won one for 129 per month in my wife’s name. This year it was 88Nt. We didn’t make it.
Still their Normal rates aren’t too bad.
You don’t need a dongle nowadays.
Your cellphone phone could be set up as a hotspot and you can use wifi.
If you have hinet as your home service provider, depending upon your plan you could by wifi access in most convenience stores, fast food restaurants in many public parks for just a few hundred dollars a year unlimited.
But honestly, with low cost for cheap 4g becoming more available the restaurants and stores have been lazy about maintaining Hinets connections.
Except Tstar doesnt allow foreigners on the service without THE MIGHTY Guarantor!

I’ve had some pretty fierce battles over the years against the requirement of having
“THE MIGHTY Guarantor!” out of principal. Many I’ve won, some I’ve lost.
But for less than 200NT a month internet, screw principle!
It actually has better signal in our concrete house than Chunghua Telcom. Sometimes better than the home wifi network. No need to change wifi zones for listening to internet radio while doing activities throughout the house.

Sounds like a terrible deal. I have unlimited 4g for ~400$ on my phone and unlimitedly use it I do. I crank out about 250gb per month on it, don’t even need home internet.
