Where can I buy a door lock?
I just moved in and I would feel safer to get a new one.
Someone told me that there is a small road in Taipei with many shops specializing in this kind of thing.

Just look around for a key symbol, those shops - usually small ones around the corner - duplicate keys and carry accessories like locks. Bigger shops also sell stationaries.
I takes all my strength to resist being facetious, but yeah, a locksmith is a great place to find locks. You can also got them at any mom-and-pop hardware stores or the biggies like B&Q.
I’ve also seen all kinds of doorlock mechanisms, padlocks, bolts and whatnot at those “NT$50 stores” that carry everything from shampoo to curtains and barbecues.
