I live in Yilan on the 3rd floor, I looked out of my window towards the ocean expecting to see explosions and Chinese troop carriers.
Not today.

Yup! Welcome to Taiwan!! We’ve been having these Wan An’s since the 2000’s I think…usually once or twice a year…and if you happen to be walking or driving during the drill, you must take shelter somewhere nearby and pull over your vehicle to the side of the road for 30 mins. This will insure you don’t get blown to bits when a real missile comes hurtling thru the atmosphere. Due to Covid-19, this year pedestrians and vehicles don’t have to comply with the rules of the drill. Yippeee!!!

As long as you have a nuclear bunker you should be fine.
So that we are prepared for when China decides to strike Taiwan.
Practise makes perfect. Need to defend the nation to the teeth.
