Duel Fuel Carbs

I just bought a couple of dual fuel conversion kits for 2 different generators, one is a Yamaha engine, and the other is a Onan. The kit alows you to run propane or gasoline. It is connected between the air intake and filter.
My question, if you are running propane, do you need to turn off the gasoline valve? There is no mention of it in the instructions.

Damn buying stuff off of E-bay, no techs to ask!

Does it start on gas and switch to propane when warm?

I imagine that the kit either shuts off the gasoline supply by itself or requires you to shut it off manually and start on propane, so that would be a good clue.

don’t see any reference to switching after it is warm, so I am guessing that you should turn it off.
