Still a few days left in 2006 to boost Taiwan’s rankings…

This is from an earlier Durex survey, but I believe the 2005 survey changed little.

Taipei - Taiwan may be gaining strength in the global electronics industry, but in one area Taiwanese are definitely sagging - sex.
The latest annual survey on sex by condom-maker Durex found that Taiwanese had sex only 80 times per year, ranking them fourth from the bottom of a list of 41 countries. According to the 2004 Durex Global Sex Survey, released Tuesday, French top the global list with an average 137 times per year.
Taiwan had close company, as the three countries below them were Asian neighbors Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. Hong Kongers and Singaporeans had sex 79 times on average a year with Japanese bringing up the rear at 46.
As if that weren’t bad enough, Taiwanese also cut to the chase faster than many other nationalities. Taiwan people spent an average of 16.3 minutes on foreplay, 3.4 minutes less than the global average from a sample size of 350,000 people worldwide, ranking them fifth from the bottom.
Topping the list of foreplay were those from Great Britain at an average of 22.5 minutes.
Coming to the final question, the survey found that 35 percent of all people responding said that they always achieve orgasm; however, only 17 percent of women said this compared to the 45 percent of men who did. Among Chinese, 11 percent say they have never had an orgasm. [/quote]
