Anyone feel the short but strong jolt early this morning (about 4am)? It didn’t last long, but it sure made my building moan and creek! I live in Taichhung.

I woke up in bed feeling as though I were on a ship in a storm for a moment or two. Rather disconcerting.

Yeah, felt it around 4:30 in Kaohsiung. Biggest one I felt down here in a while. Good fun.

My friend from the States asked me if I was in a quake but I didn’t feel a thing at all so I said no… :unamused:

Totally felt it. I timed it at 41 seconds. I happened to already awaken by ideas that needed writing down when it hit.

It’s funny that you were awakened, the cat I am sitting had awakened me about 1 minute before it hit! It has been shown that some animals can predict earthquakes!
