This takes me back…I was out with friends on a trip to Hualien one summer and were shopping at a huge mochi store, then there was this huge earthquake and everything was shaking. If someone was recording the whole thing they’d probably see all those mochis quivering in flour and stuff. 
Gosh it was a freaking long quake. I’m the only one awake.

Biggest quake down here in Changhua that I’ve felt for a while.
I’m on the 20th floor of a 21 story building in Taoyuan. My apartment swayed smoothly for a good 20-30 seconds. I was already awake getting ready to go to the airport; not sure if it would have woken me up.
