I called the wife who is back at home on the north coast and she says that she was unaware that there was an earthquake. Turned on the TV news to hear about it.
First time in metro in a quake, felt like someone was moving the car side by side.

Immediately went to make sure my spirits didn’t fall
No phone alert.
I’m sitting ground level of a tall building. Felt like seat was sliding around.
