Earthquakes 2025

USGS seems not to list smaller one below 4.5

Thanks, all. Good point. That is a recent problem because they offer to show all magnitudes:

, and within a month (?) I’ve used those options to look at the lower magnitudes. I’ll write 'em
Edit: their known bugs page shows that they haven’t been updating the site since the government shutdown :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Ain’t that just peachy

For simple data sets, the Taiwan weather website has it laid out clear.

Wow, that one felt long (Taipei). Always funny that my filled dehumidifier is my earthquake alarm since it always sets off the sensor and beeps at me.

Didn’t just imagine that one earlier:

~5.6 Hualien

Can feel it quite good in Nantou

Shaky in Changhua

Rolling rolling rolling in Taoyuan

Oh! Felt in Songshan, Taipei

felt in Sanxia
Christmas tree gave it away

A bit scary in Hualien, a hard shaking then a long-lasting rolling. Just checked apartment walls for any new cracks…

Big enough to make me and the cats nervous in Danshui. I even moved towards a door frame - and as always, looked around nervously at all the different shelves that could collapse against the different door frames.
