HABODE is an eco-friendly concept that appears to fold out of two shipping container sized frames that can be transported anywhere using standard container handling equipment, without being limited by the solid steel walls of a standard shipping container.

I’ve heard good things about this stuff. Basically it’s a styrofoam frame reinforced by concrete. I know of one person who’s used it and been happy with it. Unfortunately perhaps, it hasn’t really caught on as far as I know.

Seems like one of the major obstacles to more environmental living is just that in many (most) western countries, you have to be thinking resale value whenever you build a house. That means anything weird or even just out of the ordinary can be a no-no.
