At least they are still using it. In Costa Rica, Taiwan built a huge bridge, one of the largest in the region…which has fallen into disrepair. No maintenance, they are just letting it rot away, even though it is a vital link to a very profitable touristic area.

It was called Taiwan/Costa Rica friendship bridge. I guess Taiwan/Costa Rica Betrayal bridge is more appropiate now.

At least Taiwan’s running out of these sort of countries to waste money on. I’m glad we’ve still eSwatini, though. A lot of my students from there are on scholarships. Nice bunch.

The Just Not That Into You Bridge?

Who comes to Taiwan from El Salvador? MS 13?

Do we really need more El Salvadorans in Taiwan? There are enough Canadians already in the flop houses of Shida.

recently i found out the international driving permit laws are the way they are here because of reciprocation. yea because a tourist would need to ride a scooter back home… so instead of having a system that works, we just get loads of people breaking those laws and nobody giving a crap because thats just how it is here.
