HI @ all!
First of all i want to say that i’m not searching a job or something like that. It’s just interesting to know. So how is the chance to find a job in Taiwan as an electrician? I made my apprenticeship as electrician for systems and devices (mikrocontroller etc.) and now i am doing the state certified technician (a bigger area coz now i have automation engineering too). As i said before it’s just interest.
No one knows a little bit?
You don’t just study for ‘electrician’ in Taiwan … you become electrician by knowing that two powered wires can actually be used to let stuff work (TV, toaster, light etc.)… or not … that it’s dangerous by times is of no concern.
But I guess you are not really interested in doing home installations …
No…
Sorry i used the wrong word i think. I am an eletronic technician. And i am doing the state certified technician now. And of course we learn something about installation too.
Maybe it’s easier if i say what i learn there: (mikrocontroller, automation engineering (like SPS), Computer technology, installation)
Is there a concern that need jobs like this?
Something like Siemens?

That’s electrical engineering, and in Taiwan there should be a good number of jobs for those as many computer stuff is made in Taiwan or by Taiwanese companies.
We usually understand electrician as someone who deals with building/house wirings. In Taiwan it seems there are no standard certification and it’s called “shuidian” which means electrical and plumbing. Guys who do that usually passes for plumbing, electrical, “tradesman” and selling noodles.
Ground? what is that? oh the third little metal thing, here let me cut it off for you.
