I was in the Taipei High Administrative Court this morning arguing a case against the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the ROC Overseas Representative Office in Seattle had denied the issuance of an ROC passport to an ROC citizen in May of 1992. It is a fairly complicated case, and also has “military service” related considerations.
The lawyer representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was a Ms. Wang, and after the hearing I asked if her firm had English speaking lawyers who would be able to offer assistance to the foreign community in Taiwan.
