Is, you’re Overseas Chinese, no? You get special placement in local universities, plus preparatory courses. There is a nice Chinese studies program for foreigners in Shida, taught in Linkou though. Art is difficult to be taught in anything but Mandarin here, though.[/quote]

Yeah I just applied for the one at NTNU (find out 16/05) sounds like a great course, taught in english. I found a whole bunch of courses taught in english at NCCU, NTU, NTNU plus a bunch of private ones including Ming Chuan. seems to me there is plenty on offer if you want a course taught in english. This courses included, MBA plus a lot of BA’s/Bcom’s…

I am pretty sure most application deadlines have past for this year already. You would need to wait until 2011 now anyway… ??

Universities in the US are costing wayyy too much. Including room and board the public universities are about $25,000 USD a year. Is there a university in taiwan that teaches in English? or even a reputable school in all of Asia that teaches undergrads in English?

I think that it’s good to consider if a degree that you invest time and money into will be taken seriously in other parts of the world or not (assuming that you don’t plan on staying permanently in Taiwan). IMHO it’s well worth spending the extra dosh to get your degree at a recognized, accredited university…even if you have to take out loans.
