ERROR: The instruction at *** referenced memory...Help!

I’ve been getting this error. Is it hardware or software.

The instruction at “0x6b746498d” refereced memory at “x00000120”. The memory could not be “read”.

Is this hardware? It seems to happen in when I close my video players “real, media player, winamp” after playing files or stop capturing files in “Leadtek pvr”.

Should I note the “instruction” locations to determin if my RAM is bad?

Try installing a newer version of your sound card drivers, it might or might not help.
