This six-week workshop is an open-level class including mindful breathing, meditation, and a hatha-vinyasa yoga practice. Class goes every Sunday from 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm at the Watermoon Teahouse near the Technology Building MRT. The class will run until November 18th and newcomers are welcome throughout the six-week period.
Hatha yoga is the exploration of physical postures (asanas). These asanas are aimed at increasing bodily awareness, promoting health and ease of mobility as well as finding deep relaxation. Meditation helps promote calmness and clarity and the benefits of regular practice can be felt immediately.
This energizing and reflective class’s venue is the elegant and classic Watermoon Teahouse, which will inspire a mood of peace and tranquility. An excellent way to prepare for the new week! Class will end with meditation followed by drinking delicious tea together.
Michelle, the instructor for the course, loves practicing and sharing yoga with others. She is a certified teacher from OM Yoga (hatha vinyasa) in New York City, a certified yoga therapist from the Atmavikasa Center of Yogic Sciences in Mysore, India, and has taught at SPACE Yoga and East West Culture Project in Taiwan. Taipei has been her residence for over five years.
