EWCP Courses: Summer Sessions - The Living is Easy

Make this summer a time for expansion, growth, activity and creativity. Join us for a series of workshops that will explore ancient eastern practices in an accessible and easy-to-learn environment. We have invited qualified teachers to teach basic methods for calming the mind, increasing energy and improving your health, from their respective fields.

Each workshop will conclude with a chance to meet with the Venerable Khenchen Rinpoche, who is an authentic master of multiple Buddhist and Zen traditions, and is versed in many wisdom traditions from the East.

CLASS LIST & DESCRIPTION

Each week will feature a unique topic, complemented by a relaxing meditation session. There will also be many chances to drink tea and discuss with others from our growing international community.

8/6 (Tue) - Chinese Tea: The Zen Way
8/13 (Tue) - Buddhist Philosophy: Living Buddhism
8/20 (Tue) - Meditation: Eating, Drinking and Mindfulness
8/27 (Tue) – Potluck and film

FEES & REGISTRATION

Pick favorites: NT$1,000/4 courses*
Busy Bee: NT$300/drop-in**

  • must pre-select. courses are of your own choosing
    ** please notify us by Monday if you will come

All EWCP programs are run on a volunteer basis without profit. Fees are used for rent, utilities, and course materials to make your experience more enjoyable. All you have to do is bring yourself, a notebook (and a water bottle)!

All workshops will be held at private centers or teahouses in the Da’an District. Upon filling out the short registration form you will receive an e-mail with course details.

Due to our limited seating, we will reserve seats for those who express a sincere interest pursuing studies in eastern practices.
