EWCP PRESENTS: Chinese Medicine and the Approach of Spring (Feb. 24th)

Sunday, February 24th, 2013 7:30pm - 10:30pm

You may think, “Spring? But it’s still winter!” According to the ancient Chinese, the Spring Festival marks the coming of spring, and with it, adaptations in our lifestyle to keep our mind and body healthy and at ease.

Through the lens of Chinese Medicine, learn how the seasons - spring, in particular - affect us. What will we experience, physically and mentally, as the season changes? How can we change our diet and activity to reflect this and keep healthy?

End the evening with an open lecture from the Venerable Khenchen Rinpoche, who learned Chinese Medicine from an early age and has been teaching Buddhism and meditation for over 30 years.

We will also be highlighting upcoming courses and activities available in the coming months.
