Exhibition about 17th century Taiwan

The National Palace Museum currently has a special exhibition titled The Emergence of Taiwan on the World Scene in the 17th Century. (I suppose that makes a more interesting show than “Taiwan returns to obscurity and near insignificance in the 18th century.” )

Most expats would probably just call the show “The Dutch Period in Taiwan.”

Whatever the title, it’s an impressive show. I recommend going. The exhibition lasts through the end of April.

Thanks for the post CLW.
